eciService is renovating this building for Sunbelt Rentals. This Sunbelt division houses and rents floor grinding/polishing equipment to companies specializing in that industry. eciService was asked to modify a sales floor area for the construction equipment rental division. After removing select walls and removing carpet tile, the concrete floor was ground using equipment provided by Sunbelt’s floor grinding division.
The decision was made to bring Palma Inc. from New Jersey to epoxy the floor with Sunbelt’s specified epoxy. In addition, eciService added three overhead garage doors and one with a forklift ramp that extended out into the parking lot. Billy Sheaffer has been Superintendent overseeing the renovations. eciConstruction has provided extra manpower as needed, including Ron Lingle, Jesse Staples, Garrett Singer, Bill Goodling, Larry Myers, Dan Schoffstall, Craig Funk, James Baughman, and others.
Stanton Baker from eciService, Chris Rogers and Jason Myers from MSME, and a sub-contract electrician, Jimmy Larue, have handled the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing demolition, alterations, and improvements.
The forklift ramp request brought in eciConstruction’s concrete team, run by Mark Shoemaker. Mark and the team excavated for footers, poured footers, set up Simons forms and poured the two side walls, backfilled inside the walls, tied up rebar, and poured the ramp. Those assisting Mark were Ben Rivera, Andy Kramer, and Colin Keefer.
